company and the right team.
Let me tell you a story about a good friend of mine, he was in
love with a company called
orenda international about a year and half or so. He was so passionate
about it because
the products impressed him. One of the products gave him his energy back,
helped his
father with his shoulder pains and depression. He thought that was the best
opportunity
ever, he told every one on earth about it. He made some money, then as
soon as he
ran out of people to talk to, what they called “warm market” and he was
not able
to keep up sponsoring people regularly, his check stopped coming. He like many others
discovered that
they had some nasty trick in their compensation plan called
“breakaway” that
no one bothered to tell him about. As a naïve network marketer he thought all
network marketing companies offer residual income business opportunity!
A "wake up" call we call it in America.
Live and learn. If
you are sure that you have a good company with honest leaders, then
skip to #2.
2nd Secret
Network marketing is
about people. It is not a sales
business.
Aggressive sales techniques won’t work
in network marketing
for the long term.
It is learning and mentoring business.
You need to have a
big hear and a nice soul.
You need to be willing to help others
not take their money.
3rd Secret
It is about
marketing. You can not rely on talking to your
friends and family. You need to learn direct response marketing for
lead
generation.
You need to learn internet marketing
and apply the direct
marketing techniques.
4th Secret
Prospect at least 2
new people per day. It doesn’t matter,
they join or not. Just talk to them, put two new people in your
pipeline
of prospects.
